I love flowers. I grow them for the pure pleasure of seeing and smelling
them all year round.
I grow them for color. I grow them to enjoy inside and
out. I grow them for ingredients in salads. I grow them to make
bouquets. I cut them, arrange them, dry them and press them.
I grow annuals,
perennials and bulbs. And of course I grow
flowering shrubs and trees
too!
When I first started gardening I didn't see the point of growing anything
that you couldn't eat or didn't have big wonderful flowers. I've matured a
bit since then and now enjoy many plants for the color and texture of their
leaves and bark. But at the end of the day flowers are still my favorites.
